My work is about sandy places, daydreaming and contemplation. Although traces of my many travels echo in my paintings, my inspiration comes from the region I chose to live in with my family : Arrábida, near the Rio Sado Estuary, a verdant land of beauty and charm, home to the sun and the lights and shadows that play on the mountains and the sea.
